Caught an interesting film this week: Vast of the Night. A 50s-set, stylish little sci-fi. I was surprised it was the director's first film, definitely one to keep an eye on. A little nostalgia too, in the form of van Damme's old library of films. Gotta find some Timecop next!

Quiet week all in all. Luckily I can still work from home, so there's that (thanks 3dtotal). I watched Jean Claude Van Johnson on Prime which was pretty funny if you're a JCVD fan and understand all the in-jokes. Guava Island too, with Donald Glover and Rihanna, was a nice, short (1-hour) piece, filled with his music, some nice animation, and an island-set morality tale.
