The Risen Part 1 - FREE

PART 1 - FREE
Hello all, and welcome to the world of tomorrow! (Friday is on the brain, it's been a long old week.) But you know what was Pretty, Pretty, Pretty, Good, (too much Curb Your Enthusiasm) and that was Daniel Barnett's The Flashlighters. I gave it a review here. I wouldn't wholeheartedly recommend it if I didn't mean it, he's one of the best Indie authors out there.

I'm now reading something from a new author, Chris Scubli, a sci-fi space opera, which promises to be good. It's so new there aren't even any links yet, but once there are I'll get a review up! In the meantime, for the next few days, The Risen part 1 is available for free to download. It's also standalone, though part 2 I believe does fill the lore and expand on the world. (Just in case that's something that puts you off.)

Happy reading all.

Jared Carson is gone, leaving a ravaged home behind for her wife Beth and baby daughter Lily.
Crystal Raven was absolutely nothing like any other supernatural fiction you have ever read.
Two worlds at war. Two brothers at war.
Scott’s just an ordinary nine-to-five guy with an ordinary family, trying to scrape a living. But his life’s about to get blown apart.
Something ancient, before the time of Wolf and Tiger, has awoken in the infinite abyss of space.

"Best concept album I've heard in a long time. Great music, amazing story, killer spoken word. Prepare to have your mind blown. Listen to the whole album in one go with good headphones for maximum effect. This is fantastic! Favorite track: Goldilocks Enigma."
